Substantial wealth and its inherent complexities demand a management approach that seamlessly integrates multiple financial disciplines into a cohesive strategy.

EDWARD R. COLLINS, JD, CFP®, AAMS, RFC

Founding Partner & Wealth Advisor

A lawyer's mind combined with decades of integrated wealth management experience. This is how the COLLINS LAMBERT team describes Mr. Collins. He credits much of his success to mindset combined with his entrepreneurial spirit, which first made itself known following second grade when he opened a full service, five-day-per-week lemonade stand during the summer of 1983.

The real key, though, has been the leveraged strategies and techniques that he's uncovered while working with some of the most successful entrepreneurs and entreprofessionals across the country. Mr. Collins helped found Artisan Wealth Management in 2008, which has now evolved into COLLINS LAMBERT in 2019.  A true student of wealth management, Mr. Collins has achieved advanced accreditation in the areas of financial planning, professional money management, and wealth management and has earned the prestigious CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®) certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. in Washington, D.C., the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designation from The College for Financial Planning in Colorado, as well as the Registered Financial Consultant (RFC) designation from the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants in Ohio.

Mr. Collins has obtained his Series 7, 66, and 24 securities registrations held through LPL Financial, as well as his Life and Health Insurance Licenses. Mr. Collins earned his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Seton Hall University School of Law, and graduated from Caldwell University with a double major in History (B.A.) and Psychology (B.A.), a minor in Political Science and a Certificate in Government Service and Administration. He started his professional career working with the United States Department of Justice, but transitioned to private wealth management planning in 1998.

An avid tennis player, he can often be found on a tennis court when not in a meeting with a client or at an industry conference. Community Service plays an important role in Mr. Collins’ life. He is a member of the Board of Trustees for Caldwell University. He serves as a Trustee and Treasurer of the Brian C. Kull Memorial Foundation, Inc., a foundation that issues college scholarships to students that demonstrate excellence in the areas of service, leadership and fellowship within their community. Mr. Collins and his wife, Irina, are active members of the North Hunterdon-Clinton Kiwanis Club, a volunteer organization that engages in many local service initiatives near their home in Annandale, New Jersey. Along with their son Ryan and their daughter Victoria, they enjoy traveling, both locally, for the occasional weekend getaway, and to warmer climates when their schedules permit.
